Job summary

Allied Universal in Winchester, KY is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor perimeter, assist employees and visitors, and deter security incidents. You will leverage our shift platform to build a workable schedule and help create a welcoming environment.

Daily duties include patrolling assigned areas, controlling access, documenting observations, and responding to alarms with calm problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Background/investigation as per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access; verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and follow established procedures.
• Help deter unauthorized activity and protect infrastructure through visible patrols and timely reporting.
