Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Carnegie, PA to provide customer service and security at an assigned site. The role features fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional hours via our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while maintaining a reliable schedule.

Pay rate is $17.34 per hour with a schedule that includes daytime and night hours. The position offers part‑time hours, potential progression to full‑time, and access to paid

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license may be required for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and support site access requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports, patrol logs, and other documentation related to incidents, access activity, and observed conditions.
