Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in New Bern, NC. You will perform routine patrols, deter unauthorized access, and deliver customer service with integrity at a manufacturing and industrial site.

The role offers a flexible schedule (DayTime and Night shifts) with a pay rate of $13.77 per hour. Applicants must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks and a drug screen as required by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment process.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor credentials.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site protocols.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns and security incidents to site contacts.
