Job summary

Allied Universal in Independence, KY is seeking a Security Guard Part-Time Patrol. You will serve clients in a range of environments, conduct patrols, monitor access, and maintain a welcoming, safe site while delivering courteous service.

The role offers a flexible schedule with the option to explore new shifts through our Claim a Shift platform. Requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on location.
• Valid driver's license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor location access by observing vehicles, visitors, and personnel; manage sign-in and credential checks as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications per procedures.
