Job summary

Allied Universal in Independence, KY seeks a Security Officer Part Time Inspection to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sectors. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor areas, and report concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour. Shifts: DayTime Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM. Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment; licensing may be required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and report as needed to relevant personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Verify authorized personnel/visitors and document entries/exits and unusual activity.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrols, and observations per site requirements.
