Job summary

Allied Universal in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Part Time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol) to protect clients across tech, media and telecom sites. You will conduct routine interior/exterior patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professional customer service.

This is a part-time daytime role with base duties around site security and compliance. Earn $17.63 per hour with a flexible schedule and opportunities to claim additional shifts.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery verification in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
