Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol and Badge for Pacific Palisades, CA. You will patrol, monitor access, and deliver strong customer service across a commercial real estate site.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-related policies, and assist with emergency response as needed.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating details to management/local responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to support authorized access and report suspicious behavior.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs following Allied Universal standards.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Mon	03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Tue	03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, report suspicious behavior, and/or follow post orders related to the property.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
