Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Hollis, NY to provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff while conducting patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document observations following approved procedures.

The role offers flexible day shifts, a pay rate of $18.02 per hour, and opportunities to claim additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures.
Monitor access points and assist with directing authorized individuals.
Respond to incidents and communicate information following procedures.
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience and be 18+.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and assist with directing authorized individuals, and maintain a professional presence at the location.
Respond to incidents and service disruptions calmly and follow escalation procedures.
Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate with site representatives.
