Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Manassas, VA. You will protect clients at a technology-focused location, monitor access points, conduct patrols, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Document incidents, patrol findings, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.]
