Job summary

Allied Universal in Manassas, VA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer (Guest Support) to monitor and protect client sites. You will patrol, manage access, document activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

The role offers flexible Daytime and Weekend shifts, competitive pay at $21.84 per hour, and opportunities to learn via our Shift-claim platform, with an emphasis on teamwork, integrity, and safety.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, offices, laboratories, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; communicate observations to the right people.
• Complete required activity reports and shift communications accurately and timely.
