Prosegur, a global security provider, is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer (Part Time) in Sunnyvale, CA. You will guard premises, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence for clients and visitors.

This role requires a valid Security Guard License, a high school diploma, and the ability to stand, walk, and handle shifts. You will support a team of security officers and report daily activity with clear DARs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License.
• 2 years of experience as a security officer.
• 2-3 years of supervisor experience in security.
• Open availability to work all shifts.
• Reliable transportation.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Able to walk/run stairs daily.
• Capable of working at different sites in Inland Empire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order.
• Guide, mentor, and help with scheduling for a team of 40+.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards.
• Enforce rules, respond to emergencies.
• Escort individuals as needed.
• Write detailed DARs.
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, employees, visitors.
• Monitor for irregular activity.
• Secure facility and designated areas.
• Investigate and prepare incident reports.
