Job summary

Prosegur in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer to supervise client sites during weekend shifts and deliver professional, reliable security services. You will monitor entrances, perform patrols, and maintain a visible, calm presence to deter incidents and protect people and property.

Qualifications include 18+ years old, CA Security Guard Card, a High School diploma or GED, and strong written and spoken English.

Qualifications

18+ years of age.
CA Security Guard Card.
Minimum 1 year security experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Clean driving record and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties to our clients.
Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
Manage security services and related operations including staff, scheduling, and training at an assigned site.
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.
Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure safety and property.
