Allied Universal in Aurora, CO is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with experience to protect clients across Retail/Malls and related settings. The role supports a flexible schedule, including day and weekend shifts, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

The position emphasizes customer service, safety, and community goodwill. The role requires security experience, proper licensing where applicable, and completion of background checks and drug testing as required by law.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor entrances and high-traffic areas; report suspicious activity and policy concerns.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations to site leadership.
