Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screening may apply by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor activity, report suspicious behavior, deter theft and unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with management and authorities.
• Document observations and patrol activity per site procedures.
