Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) in Albuquerque, NM. You will patrol retail locations, maintain a visible presence, assist visitors and staff, and report security-related concerns with professionalism.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule (DayTime Tue/Wed/Thu 1:00 PM–9:00 PM) and a pay rate of $20.15 per hour. Allied Universal values teamwork, integrity, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, reporting as required.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access.
• Document observations and communicate to site leadership and Allied Universal.
