Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 18+ years of age.
• US citizen or permanent resident.
• Must be registered in Military Selective Services.
• 1 year of security officer experience.
• Open availability for all shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Able to follow complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in screening process (drug test and background).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance/exit of employees, visitors, and others to guard against theft.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, or infractions.
• Enforce rules and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Escort individuals and provide personal protection or removal from property.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity.
• Secure facility and designated areas.
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.
