Job summary

Allied Universal in Kernersville, NC is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol to safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment. You’ll conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond professionally to concerns.

The schedule is set with daytime shifts, and pay rate is $15.00 per hour. A high school diploma and being at least 21 years old are required, along with background checks and a drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing individuals to appropriate offices, entrances, and services.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
