Job summary

Allied Universal in South Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) to monitor client sites, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service. This role offers a flexible schedule with the Claim a Shift platform.

The position requires at least two years of security-related experience, a high school diploma, and a valid guard card or license where required. Pay is $25.00 per hour, with day and weekend shifts available.

Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Have loss prevention experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
