Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide routine patrols, monitor access, and deliver customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution site.

Position offers flexible Fri/Sat night shifts, wage of $17.45 per hour, and opportunities to join a growing, caring team focused on safety, integrity, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, driver, and vendor activity; verify credentials and follow established entry and exit procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
