Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) for a financial institution location in Mount Laurel, NJ. The role focuses on protecting people and property, deterring incidents, and delivering excellent customer service during specified shifts.

As a Part-Time officer, you can build a flexible schedule and use our Claim a Shift platform to explore new roles. CPR and security licenses are preferred; a HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking, ATM locations, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report anomalies to authorities.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports; communicate during shift handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrance areas, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements; report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
