Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Columbus, OH. You will patrol the site, maintain a visible presence, and deter security incidents while delivering professional service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

The role offers weekend overnight shifts with a pay rate of $17.98 per hour. You will use standard operating procedures to check credentials, report observations, and respond to incidents, coordinating with the site team to keep facilities safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and maintaining entry/exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports and shift communications per site requirements.
