Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Unarmed) in Seneca, SC where you will patrol facilities, assist employees and visitors, and deter unauthorized activity. This Part Time role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and at least three years of security experience.

You will use a computer or tablet, follow site procedures, and participate in required background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across campus buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by site procedures; report anomalies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and follow post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns.
