Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer in Austin, TX. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to alarms while delivering professional customer service to government facilities.

The role requires a valid driver's license, at least 1 year in security, and a high school diploma. Part-time hours include weekend night shifts; training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience or more.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government facility by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries in a calm, professional manner; communicate observations to the proper personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter security issues.
• Monitor access points and manage visitor entry per procedures, directing individuals as needed.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol activities per site requirements.
