Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and documenting observations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
