Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Acknowledgement) in Ashburn, VA. You will monitor financial-institution sites, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization per procedures.
• Communicate observed conditions and concerns to site contacts and emergency services.
