Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Los Angeles, CA. You will patrol government locations, protect people and property, and provide courteous customer service while following established procedures and emergency plans.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Certification with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeters; report unusual conditions or activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally following post instructions and notification procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; maintain logs and reports; communicate observations to site contacts.
• Direct visitors and maintain a professional presence to support orderly operations.
