Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard in Brooklyn, NY to patrol a commercial real estate location and maintain a visible security presence. You will support access control, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in security, customer service experience preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A guard card or license is preferred, with background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas, entrances, exits, lobby areas, loading areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and verify entry authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, maintenance observations, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
