Allied Universal in West Columbia, SC is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer to protect clients at a technology, media, and telecom location. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and provide courteous customer service.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report access-control concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and communicate with responders and site personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handover information.
