Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Orange, TX. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will perform unarmed security duties at a government services location, with a focus on customer service, patrols, access control, and incident response. The position requires a TSA TWIC and a valid driver’s license, and includes background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting policy violations or concerning behavior to appropriate personnel.
