Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Unarmed Patrol, Computer Reporting in Aurora, IL. You will patrol, monitor access, document observations, and provide courteous service.

Flexible shifts are offered via our Claim a Shift platform, with a competitive hourly rate. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, ability to pass background checks and drug screening, and a valid driver’s license where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Background/history review per federal, state and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surroundings to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor entry, and delivery activity per site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and shift communications.
