Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Alarm Monitoring in Aurora, IL. This role offers flexible, fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional conduct. Minimum requirements include security experience, high school diploma, and the ability to obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and data infrastructure location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and contractor entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations.
