Allied Universal in Ardmore, TN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol to provide customer service to visitors and staff while maintaining site security and procedures.

This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform. Pay rate is $17.70 per hour, with part-time hours and potential to grow toward a full schedule, up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff and the public at a government tourism location by following site procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, entrances, parking areas and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity; report unusual conditions and incidents per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and follow emergency procedures when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports; communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
