Job summary

Allied Universal in Norfolk, VA seeks a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Walkthroughs to safeguard client sites across aerospace/defense and other industries. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete daily reports, supporting a dynamic, collaborative workplace.

Shifts are Part-Time (Thu/Fri 5:30 AM–1:30 PM). Earn $19.95 per hour with opportunities to grow your skills via our Claim a Shift platform and Smart Tools.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access by observing personnel/visitors and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports per site requirements.
