Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturing/industrial location in Saint Joe, Indiana. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
