Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Joe, IN is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring Security Officer to protect facilities and people at a manufacturing/industrial location. You will provide a visible presence, enforce access control, and respond to incidents.

The role offers part-time schedules with Day and Night shifts, a pay rate of $16.00 per hour, and opportunities for career growth within a safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
