Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in West Warwick, RI. You will monitor and patrol the facility, provide excellent customer service, and report security concerns while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to work across a variety of sites. The position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of background checks and a drug screen as

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, building perimeter, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report access control issues or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems.
