Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Badge Control in Honolulu, HI to provide reliable security service at a designated site and support client operations with professional conduct.

This role uses fixed anchor shifts and a flexible Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, allowing additional shifts across multiple sites. The position pays $27.10 per hour with a 6-month commitment, offering part-time hours and potential progression toward full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of prior military experience (Hawaii only).
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery driver entry in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
