Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Badge Authentication) in Duncan, SC. You will safeguard clients, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service at an automotive manufacturing location.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform and a hands-on, welcoming work environment. Requires ability to pass background checks and drug screening; high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly using established procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity to management.
• Document patrols and incidents in accordance with site reporting requirements.
