Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Piedmont, SC to protect clients across industries. You will provide customer service, maintain a visible presence, and follow site procedures.

The role includes patrolling, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting findings. Schedule Sat-Sun 6am-6pm; pay is $17/hour. Qualifications include HS diploma and background checks.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Age 18+ for unarmed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, medical events, and other critical situations calmly and follow site protocols.
Document patrol findings, incidents, and hazards in required reports and communicate during shift handoffs.
