Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver with an active DoD clearance for our Melbourne, FL location. This part-time role involves patrolling logistics and distribution sites, monitoring access, and providing professional customer service to clients and employees.

Responsibilities include documenting visits and incidents, maintaining a visible security presence, and coordinating with emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and documentation, and maintain records.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across logistics and distribution areas.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow site procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity to site leadership.
