Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a Patrol Driving role in Palm Bay, FL. You will provide on-site security, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service at an aerospace/defense location.

A valid DoD Secret clearance and a valid driver’s license are required. You must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed). A high school diploma or equivalent is expected. Background checks and drug screening are part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry in accordance with established site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.
