Job summary

Allied Universal in Piedmont, SC is hiring a Security Guard (Part Time Unarmed Observation). You will monitor a chemical/petrochemical site, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

The role includes shift scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform and responding to incidents per site protocols. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, chould ensure credentials, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following site protocols.
• Document patrol findings and communicate shift information.
