Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard in Blythewood, SC. The role focuses on monitoring facilities, controlling access, and delivering exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.

You will work a part-time schedule with shifts listed in the posting and be part of a team that emphasizes reliability and integrity. The position requires a minimum of 2 years in security-related roles, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening where required.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Support a professional workplace environment by observing and reporting policy violations, hazards, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues.
