Allied Universal is seeking a part-time, unarmed Security Guard in Redwood City, CA. The role involves patrolling commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service to tenants and staff.

The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour with a part-time schedule that includes weekday shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe property conditions, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
