Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Scranton, PA. The role includes patrolling retail locations, providing customer service, and maintaining a strong, visible security presence.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, minimum 18 years old for unarmed positions (21+ for armed), and a high school diploma or equivalent. The schedule includes Saturday and Sunday daytime shifts with an 2:00 PM–11:00 PM window.

Qualifications

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, parking areas, loading locations and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate professionally with staff and responding agencies.
