Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Concord, CA. You will patrol retail areas, assist visitors and tenants, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Pay rate is $22.90 per hour. Schedule includes Daytime hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Minimum requirements include 1 year security experience, valid driver’s license, and high school diploma; background check and drug screen apply where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may apply; driving positions require a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other events in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
