Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Orlando, FL. You will perform unarmed patrols at a commercial real estate location, provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, and assist with incident reporting and access control.

The role offers flexible daytime/evening shifts with pay at $18.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, providing directions and assistance while helping to maintain orderly access.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or hazards to Allied Universal leadership and designated property representatives.
