Job summary

Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Driver Credential Control Patrol to protect clients at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and maintain a visible presence while delivering friendly, professional service.

A valid driver's license is required; badge/access control experience and CPR certification are preferred. The position offers a $19.97 hourly rate and a shift pattern that fits your schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity, maintaining awareness of building operations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.]
