Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN. This part-time role offers a pay rate of $18.50 per hour with daytime and overnight shifts; you will serve clients, deter incidents, and maintain a professional presence while on patrol.

A valid driver’s license is required, along with at least two years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and government facility occupants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established emergency procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership.
