Job summary

Allied Universal in San Diego, CA seeks a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol. You will monitor facilities, perform access control, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role offers a flexible schedule with part-time hours, including Mondays and Sundays, and a pay rate of $22.85 per hour. Training and opportunities for growth are provided by Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other designated locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.
